5* VIP Package I & II

5-day stay, including all expenses of the procedure, medication and necessary medical tests. Procedure is performed exclusively by Dr. Konstantinos Anastassakis MD, PhD, 24/7 nurse is provided for one (1) day after the procedure, postoperative hair kit and LLLT sessions, accommodation to a hotel, all meals inclusive according to your food preferences or religious dietary guidelines, English spoken tour guide, a visit at the Acropolis museum and Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC), all transfers with private chauffeur. Travel to and from Athens is not included.

5* VIP PACKAGE day 1

1. Arrival at the airport.  You’ll be picked up by our chauffeur and our specially appointed to you medical consultant. He’ll drive you to our clinic for your 1st assessment with Dr. Konstantinos Anastassakis MD, PhD.

Refreshments and snacks are offered during the transportation. 2. Medical assessment. You’ll meet Dr. Anastassakis. A detailed analysis of your donor area, graft requirements, design and procedure details are offered to you. You’ll be given a tour guide to our premises. The final design of your procedure is agreed with Dr. Anastassakis. All necessary routine medical exams are prescribed to be done the following date. 3. Our chauffeur will drive you to your hotel. There you can relax or use the spa facilities of the hotel. A head, neck and foot massage is pre-booked for you. 4. In the evening your medical consultant will escort you to one of Athens finest restaurants with Acropolis view to enjoy your dinner!

5* VIP PACKAGE day 2

1. After a light breakfast, our medical consultant will pick you up. If any medical tests are required, you’ll be driven to the diagnostic center. 2. Once the medical tests are performed, you’ll have the opportunity to see the Acropolis museum, one of the finest archaeological museums in the world, exactly under the shadow of the unique monument of Acropolis. Before arriving at the Acropolis Museum, we’ll make a small stop to Syntagma Square to see the presidential guard change. 3. Light lunch at the museum and back to the hotel for a noon break.

4. Late in the afternoon our medical consultant will pick you up and escort you to the largest metropolitan park in Greece and one of the leading ones in Europe, Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC). SNFCC is located in the southern front of Athens and includes one of the largest Mediterranean gardens, the National Opera and the National Library buildings, all created by famous architect Renzo Piano. You’ll be offered a guided tour and you’ll have the chance also to see the trophy of the 1ST modern marathon race that was held in Athens back in 1896, during the 1st modern Olympic games. 5.  After the park visit, dinner in a Greek traditional tavern is offered. Special menu preparations can be arranged according to your food preferences or religious dietary guidelines. 6. Return to the hotel for a good night’s sleep. Tomorrow is the day of the procedure!

5* VIP PACKAGE day 3

1. Our medical consultant will pick you up at 8.00 o’clock in the morning. A light breakfast will be offered in our clinic’s rest zone.

2. The surgeon and the medical staff will go through the last details and will accompany you to the procedure room.

FUE technical details

• • FUE manual punches (Cole Instrument Punches), motorized titanium punches (sharp) frequently changed (approx. every 500-1000 grafts), or blunt punches (Harris S.A.F.E™)

• • Punch sizes 0.8-1.0mm

• • Scoring & extraction of grafts and site creation are exclusively performed by Dr. Konstantinos Anastassakis MD, PhD

• • Maximum workload/extraction of 1000-1500 grafts per day/case to minimize transection rates due to surgical fatigue

• • Stepwise extraction and implantation in 500 grafts steps, to minimize “stand-by” time of grafts out-of-body.

• • Maximum FUE extraction per case is limited to 3500-4000 in a maximum of 3 days period, to avoid overharvesting and excessive cumulative scalp trauma.

FUT technical details

• • Strip extraction with Haber spreader (no scalpel) for approx. 0% transection rate during strip harvesting

• • Trichophytic closure with 5.0 or 4.0 Ethicon suture or small size Ethicon Staples (size R, bridge 5.3mm) according to skin type

• • Strip extraction, closure of wound and recipient site creation are exclusively performed by Dr. Konstantinos Anastassakis MD, PhD

• • Up to 3500 follicular units per day/case or 5000 follicular units in 2 days (asymmetric strip, one form each side or scalp)/per case.

• • Graft preparation by Mantis® Vision Stereo-microscopes

• • Chubby grafts are produced in all cases for maximum survival

• Only natural follicular units are prepared, no multi-grafts, no graft splitting to smaller grafts (1 or 2 hair grafts)

RECIPIENT AREA (both FUT-FUE)

• • Dense Packing up to 40-45FUs/cm2 for maximal survival and cosmetic density

Before Surgery

During Surgery

After Surgery

• • Post-surgical care kit: cap (especially developed for Hair Restoration), inflatable neck pillow, shampoo, and spraying bottle of liposomal ATP spray.

• Post-surgical medication: Antibiotics for 7 days, probiotic pills for 8 days, pain-killers for 4 days, 1-2 pills of Valium, Μethyl-prednisolone 16mg for 4 days.

3. Transfer from the clinic to your hotel. A nurse will accompany you and help you to get around after the procedure. The nurse will stay in your hotel area and will be available, in case you need assistance on the postoperative phase.

5* VIP PACKAGE day 4

1. Your assigned nurse will accompany you to the clinic in the afternoon. Here you’ll meet again with Dr. Anastassakis for a postoperative evaluation. A hair care specialist will wash the donor area and medical staff will assist you with any of your inquiries. 2. A session of LLLT (Low Level Laser Therapy) is included in this visit. 3. The chauffeur will drive you back to the hotel. The nurse will accompany you and make sure you take your medication and that you have no questions regarding postoperative treatment. 4. Dinner arrangements will follow either a private dinner in your room hotel or a dinner reservation to a restaurant close to your hotel.

5* VIP PACKAGE day 5

1. After having breakfast in your hotel, the chauffeur will pick you up and drive you to the clinic for your last assessment with Dr. Anastassakis. 2. Another session of LLLT is included in this visit. 3. A postoperative hair kit is given to you specially designed to carry in flight. You will have to use it accordingly to the doctor’s orders. 4. You’ll be driven to the airport for your flight back home. Once you are back home skype sessions will be arranged for 4/7/14 days and then in 1/2/3/6 and 12 months for evaluation. Dr. Anastassakis and his team are available for you anytime during office hours or 24/7 for any emergency from scheduled Skype sessions in case you need any assistance!
